Alexander S. Nicholas, DO, FAAO Dist., “Infectious Diseases and OMT,” is professor and chairman of the osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) department at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), where he is also director of the OMM residency and fellowship programs. Board certified in neuromusculoskeletal medicine and OMM, Dr. Nicholas is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, University Park, and a 1975 graduate of PCOM. He completed his postgraduate training at the Hospital of PCOM. A distinguished fellow of the American Academy of Osteopathy, Dr. Nicholas is a member of POMA, the American Osteopathic Association, the Philadelphia County Osteopathic Medical Society, the Educational Council on Osteopathic Principles and the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.
