The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. Dr. Roland is the Chief of Infectious Diseases at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Missouri and is Co-Director of the Medical Student Clerkship Program in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Dr. Roland stays active with the MU Medical School serving on the Medical Education Communication and Collaboration Committee, the MU LCME Educational Program for MD Degree Committee and the Medical Student Accommodations Committee, among others. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and by the American Board of Infectious Diseases.
