This short practice will use the strength of the legs and butt to help open your hips. There are many passive postures to open the hips, but not here! Standing postures move a lot of energy and blood through the lower body and will invigorate and awake your pelvis in addition to creating some nice space there. If you are especially tight in your hips, make sure to have a block handy. It will be beneficial to be slightly warm when you begin because we are going to jump right into things.
