Visvamitrasana is named after a Warrior-King, who turned sage. While a beautiful and impressive looking yoga pose, Visvamitrasana also beneficial. It's an interesting combination of strength, balance, flexibility and grace. Several variations of this pose are practiced. From bent arm to straight arm, from supported leg to unsupported leg.
