Some of us don’t think we have any creativity, others of us think we used to be creative in the past, still others haven’t felt inspired for years… which category do you fall into?

We are all deeply creative (remember those finger paintings when we were 4 years old?) but somehow, someone or a particular experience or series of events drummed it out of us.

More importantly, if we don’t make time for creative expression in our lives, it starts to disappear… the good news is that it can be called back at any time you wish. It’s always there, we’ve just been ignoring it.

What’s the big deal about being creative? We have all become too left-brain oriented — focused on tasks, linear decisions, projects with deadlines — and we haven’t nurtured the creative parts of our selves. I’ve noticed that whenever I am more balanced, using both sides of my brain and all of my intuitive intelligence, I become more expressive and have better ideas in all areas of my life.

It’s all good!
Being creative enhances every part
of your life, and invites the Universe
to bring you more abundance.

Based on your background and experiences, you may perceive some emotional risks to being more creative in your life (all tappable issues), but being creative has an abundance of benefits:

(1) Being creative is fun!
No longer focused on the serious side of things, you can enjoy yourself while you invite the creative parts of you to bring you ideas.

(2) Being creative is great for business.

When I am open to being creative in my business life, I get wonderful new ideas for products, joint ventures, teleclasses and other partnerships that ultimately enhance my work and the service I want to bring to others.

(3) Being creative is good for your personal life.
Having trouble communicating with your kids, spouse, or friends? Or finding it difficult to resolve a problem in your home life? Invite your creativity back into our life, and notice what solutions you come up with to solve the problem.

(4) Being creative reduces stress and tension.
When we unhook oursleves from being too busy, from all the noise, and allow ourselves to dream a little, our stress levels go down. Allowing creativity into your daily life is relaxing and good for every part of your body… all your cells will thank you!

So let’s intend to be more creative right now by relaxing and accessing what’s already within us – a deep well of artistic, intuitive, creative talent. Do you remember what it was like when you were creative? Do you remember when it was easy being creative?

Act as if creative ideas come to you easily…
Wait for creative ideas with eager anticipation…
And watch your energy change and
your vibration improve.

I always ask my workshop participants what the “yes, buts” are to becoming more creative in their lives… Typical answers include:

(1) Yes, but I don’t have time to be creative…
Set aside time every day for a little daydreaming… a little creativity workshop in your notebook… see what surfaces for you. If you don’t make time for your creative spirit to have a voice, it won’t get your attention and won’t be heard.

(2) Yes, but I don’t think I am creative – others are, but not me.

Remember that we are ALL creative, every single one of us, it’s only a matter of encouraging that skill or talent and giving it a little practice.Remember you are creative and assume you are creative. This intention to access creative ideas will go a long way towards lightening up your life.

(3) Yes, but, being creative is overrated… what will it do for me?
Reread the benefits to being creative… besides being fun, it is good for you mentally, physically and spiritually. It is underrated, and not enough people realize the value of it.

(4) Yes, but, I have other more serious matters to take care of, being creative isn’t a priority.
Making time for creativity will help you resolve those “serious” issues in your life! Set aside time for creativity even before you have taken care of the other matters, and watch these other matters take care of themselves. I love it when being creative solves a “formerly” unresolvable problem.

(5) Yes, but… creativity takes too much of an investment, too much study time and laborious learning.
Actually, if you have 5 minutes, you can learn to be more creative, think “outside the box” (as everyone is saying), relax and enjoy the new ideas that come to you!

Raise your vibration by accessing new creative ideas and
watch the Universe join your efforts to succeed.

Last week I encouraged you to go ahead and put “having fun” on your To Do List. So, go ahead and start putting “be more creative” or “invite creativity into my life” on your list. Then carve out time in each day to invite, talk to, and access your creative powers — the ones that have been there all along. You’ll love the results.
Shake up your old energy patterns and replace them with new habits of inviting creativity in your life, and you will raise your vibration in an instant.

As all Law of Attraction teachers say — it’s all energy! So change your energy by being inspired to be creative in all areas of your life! It will surely invite the Universe to come to your side and help you create more abundance today.
Remember, the Law of Attraction sends you situations that have the same energy of the vibration you are putting out… so assume you already are creative, know you can access it whenever you wish, realize it is a part of you already and the Universe will bring you new channels and avenues for creativity!
