Decision makers like CEOs, Business Owners, and Managers are bombarded everyday with generic, salesy, and “me, me, me” messages.

Messages like the ones below, which I pulled from the hundreds of LinkedIn requests I get each month:

My reaction: How are we connected to the same people? I should really scrub my connections list. DELETE.

We all know when we're being sold something

Notice how impersonal, generic, and “me” focused these messages are?

These people care only about one thing – themselves.

Smart CEOs, Business Owners, and Managers can sniff a selfish sales message a mile away.

Naturally, their reaction is not to reply.

No one wants to be pitched.

It’s like the aggressive used car salesman. Everybody avoids them.
