Karen Pryor – Advanced Primitive Reflex Integration Training Course: A deeper look into the nervous system pathways
The simplest techniques can have the most profound effect on patient progress.
In regards to patients with neurological deficits, behavioral challenges, autism, sensory processing problems, learning disabilities, and ADHD…
These seemingly small changes can be a catalyst for an increase in developmental success.
Unfortunately, many therapists lack the up-to-date knowledge and methodology that can boost patient progress consistently.
While some therapists find success in their techniques, others struggle to keep the progress steady.
This leaves patients stalling in their progress and results in frustration for all patients, families and therapists alike. And may even worsen the behavior or neurological health of patients…
Perhaps, you’re experiencing something similar…
…you find yourself struggling to find answers, many of which are unproven solutions that may actually put your patient and entire practice at risk.
Often times, the solution to increasing patient progress is something small, such as the implementation of an exercise or simply knowing more methods proven to help patients.
Today, Dr. Karen Pryor, PHD, PT, DPT invites you to discover the missing link you need to achieve the results you desire and the patient satisfaction you know they deserve with the help of neuroplasticity techniques…
In this online course, she’ll guide you in discovering new methods that you can implement immediately to better treat neurological damage, traumatic brain injuries, genetic abnormalities, behavior responses, autism, learning disabilities and more.
With a blend of hands-on activities, detailed discussion, and results-backed case studies, you can start using simple techniques that’ll lead to an increase of developmental success, all in her valuable training.
- How to analyze primitive reflexes and their important contribution to development
- Articulate testing and influence of the retention of primitive reflexes
- New hands-on methods that you can implement immediately into your practice
- A full demonstration of the integration exercise, including modifications for each reflex
- How to categorize the behavioral and physical symptoms associated with each reflex
- A clear examination of why the reflexes may still be present
- Debate what reflex integration can accomplish
Here’s A Brief Outline Of Dr. Pryor’s Training

- Palmar grasp
- Plantar grasp
- Asymmetrical Tonic Neck
- Symmetrical Tonic Neck
- Moro Reflex
CASE STUDIES
- 17 year-old anoxic male integration of brain stem functions, cranial nerves, midbrain to regain cortical functions without over riding primitive reflex patterns
- 8 month-old with stroke at birth, cortical vision impairment, involvement of bilateral hemispheres and symmetrical tonic neck reflex. Integration of reflexes, gained vision abilities.
- 1 year-old hemisphere stroke. Asymmetrical Tonic Reflex integrated and able to walk and run.
- Genetic non-myelination and smooth brain 9 month-old female with tone abnormalities, Tonic Labyrinthine Reflex. Integration and neuroplasticity therapy techniques resulted in ability to walk with rolling walker, count to 20 English, 10 in Spanish, name the months of the year and days of the week.
