John Paulson – Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems

• Review the history of medical record documentation.
• Review MACRA, MIPS, APM.
• Define and apply strategies that can help reduce frustration, improve productivity, and reduce work after the clinic.
• Understand the recent changes to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) policies on ancillary staff and medical student documentation of components of E/M services in the medical record.
• Decide, develop, and advocate for positive EHR systematic changes for patients and providers.
