You will learn
Human anatomy is truly fascinating and is one of the reasons why I wanted to design a course specifically about the anatomy and subsequent treatment protocols for the lumbar spine.
In my experience, student therapists struggle to learn the basic components of anatomy, especially to the region of the lumbar spine and this can be for many reasons. I wanted to design a mini-course purely about the functional anatomy of the lumbar spine and also to include some form of treatment methodology and trust me when I say this; you are going to learn so much about the anatomical region of the lumbar spine during this course..
John Gibbons is a multi-published author of many anatomical books, an osteopath, and a lecturer and he will bring all his years of expertise and experience and this will be demonstrated during this mini-course.
First, he will teach you the theoretical components of the functional anatomy of the lumbar spine; including the individual bones with associated bony landmarks, ligaments, then we move onto the nerves associated to the lumbar & sacral plexus. Included within this course will be techniques demonstrated from mobilisation, soft tissue and also kinesiology taping. Once you have learnt the theoretical components, he will take you on a practical ‘journey’ of enlightenment through the visual presentations and interactions of using real-life human anatomy.
