Sharp Healthcare
Jillian Barber, MPH in her role as Manager for Community Benefit and Health Improvement at Sharp HealthCare (Sharp), leads the process of identifying community health needs and the development of programs to address those needs for the communities served by Sharp’s seven hospitals. She leads community health needs assessment and implementation strategy development for the Sharp system, development of Sharp's annual community benefit report, and holds a key role in partnership development and program management and implementation to address community health needs. Jillian has spoken locally and nationally on the intersection of food insecurity/ social determinants, health outcomes and health care utilization, and has facilitated the development of multiple outcomes-oriented community collaborations at Sharp to address this intersection.
