Who Else Wants to Break Through Plateaus, Torch their Belly Fat and Build a Defined, Muscular Physique…by Skipping Breakfast?
- Are you unhappy with your “stomach rolls”?
- Do you hate not having your clothes fit probably? You know, loose fitting arms and a tight fitting midsection in your T-shirt?
- Would you kill to be more fit?
- Do you stay up late reading all the fitness websites, trying to devise a plan of attack that ultimately fails?
- Do you wish that girls would notice you?
- Are you insecure every time you take your shirt off in public?
- Do you want a better sex life?
I know what’s going through your head: you don’t want to be considered “unfit”, you aren’t getting enough attention from the ladies, you think that your genetics will not allow you to get totally ripped and sexy, you don’t like taking your shirt off at the beach, you hate getting your picture taken, you’re afraid of seeing yourself as fat in the mirror, and you’re constantly nervous that someone will come up to you on the street and comment on how “unfit you look today”. All of these feelings suck, but check this out:
“Recently, when surveyed, the number one thing that men regretted in their life was not having a body that they could be proud of, and felt that being unfit led them to have a life not fully lived.”
The Fast Fat Revolution
When I went to university, I finally discovered the solution. I stood up against the old wisdom about breakfast being the most important meal of the day, and started skipping it. This is also known as intermittent fasting.
I combined this method with lifting weights properly, and I actually started to notice my abs become more defined. It’s weird, because I did absolutely zero cardio.
This was a good thing because it’s embarrassing to do long distance running to get in shape. I live in the city, and running outside sucks. Everyone looks at you, and wonders to themselves “who is that sweaty guy over there working his ass off? He isn’t even in good shape…”
Over the next few years, I started tweaking my nutrition, breakfast skipping, and workouts until I finally had a shredded six pack, a muscular body, and felt good about myself.
When I went to bars, girls would come up to me and buy me drinks. In fact, at one party I was at, a girl came up to me with a drink, brought me over to all her girlfriends, and they all started touching my arms. After about a minute of this, I heard the cute brunette girl in the group say, “I bet you have a really nice stomach”. She instantly came up to me and lifted my shirt. One of the other girls in the group said, “You have really nice abs”, then she started rubbing her soft, warm hands up and down my defined stomach. I couldn’t believe it. That’s when I knew that what I was doing in the gym combined with skipping breakfast was finally paying off.
The cool thing is that this kind of attention hasn’t even stopped in the past few years. This past weekend I was at a surprise birthday party for my best friend, Tyler. During the party, the girls sat in Tyler’s backyard and drank their wine coolers while us guys played road hockey for a few hours (this is what Canadians do, eh). When we came back to Tyler’s backyard, I had my shirt off. Walking through the crowd of people, I heard a girl over my shoulder say to her friend, “holy shit, look at that guy”. I looked back, and she was talking about me.
By skipping breakfast, I went:
