Jack L. Snitzer, DO, FACOI, FACE, CCD, “Tests in Endocrinology You Wished You Never Ordered,” is a physician with Peninsula Regional Endocrinology in Salisbury, Maryland. Board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology and clinical densitometry, he is a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania and a 1987 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship and internal medicine residency at Suburban General Hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania, and an endocrinology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Snitzer is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists and the American College of Endocrinology. He is past president of the Maryland Upper Shore Chapter of the American Diabetes Association and a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Maryland Association of Osteopathic Physicians, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Thyroid Association, the International Society of Clinical Densitometry and the National Osteoporosis Foundation.
