Flint Ray – ECG and the Athletic Heart – Flint Ray, DO

1. Review ECG basics.
2. Recall the recent ECG screening guidelines.
3. Describe the physiological makeup of the “Athletic Heart.”
4. Recognize normal ECG findings in athletes.
5. Recognize abnormal ECG findings in athletes and when to follow up for abnormal results.    

   The North Carolina Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
