Pasasana – Noose Pose
This is the first asana of the Ashtanga Yoga Intermediate Series and it can sometimes feel like you are literally tying yourself up in a noose. This deep twist targets multiple areas of the body and mind. The deep squat strengthens the legs and encourages hip flexion, the twist released the back and creates space between the vertebrae and the bind opens the chest and shoulders.
