Lesson Description:

The 8th section was devised as a link between the previous 7 sections and then integrating it directly into Biu Tze applications.

So it is the end of one journey and creates the ‘bridge’ into the world of Biu Tze.

Biu Tze has to be trained very carefully because in Chi Sao thrusting fingers can create an effect contrary to that which we desire.

What we don’t want to do is fall back into using shoulder force and understanding how spinal power and relaxation makes for a more effective technique. So the opening of the section looks at 3 direct Biu Tze attacks.

And from there we look at the myriads of variations. We need to look at this section to understand the long range attacks that the Biu Tze teaches before we go to the shorter range attacks such as the Biu Tze elbow attacks.

We also show the various angles of differing Biu Tze attacks; by angles we mean the angles and positions of the arms.

We also look into the different body angles and how Biu Tze attacks have a universal approach in making it one of the most effective counter defense strategies.
