Lesson Description:

Second section Chi Sao is considered a difficult one as it looks at variations, which create a lot of stress on the shoulder and scapula region, but nevertheless it is very beneficial. We recommend you start it very slowly and then build it up.

Because of the complexity of the section we will reiterate: ‘PLEASE DO IT SLOWLY AND SOFTLY’.

The second section Chi Sao develops great reflexes contrasting and dealing with wrist manipulation, shoulder and arm levers, dealing with aikido style throws and of course learning how to recycle them and redirecting the force into the enemy.

There are many variations that help you really loosen up the spine, shoulder, arm, and wrist regions and help you to unify the body in redirecting your opponents force when being manipulated by many differing levers.

The second section really jolts the body and gives you a deeper understanding of the reason the body needs to learn how to relax.
