David Tessler – Evaluation of Abnormal Liver Function Tests

Not all patients with one or more abnormalities in liver function tests actually have liver disease. When should you and your patient be concerned?

Educational Objectives:

• Evaluate the different laboratory and radiographic markers for liver disease

• Distinguish the differential diagnosis and subsequent workup for liver disease

• Summarize the major liver diseases and treatments
