Bio: Dr. Christopher Buttarazzi is a Maine resident and graduate of the Tufts University School of Medicine-Maine Medical Center “Maine Track” program in 2014. He completed his Psychiatry Residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in 2018, as well as his Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship in 2019. Dr. Buttarazzi is now working as an Addiction Psychiatrist at Maine Behavioral Healthcare’s newly opened IMAT (Integrated Medication Assisted Treatment) Hub in South Portland; providing comprehensive, dual-diagnosis treatment for patients with opioid and other substance use disorders. In addition, he also serving as Medical Director for the Center for Tobacco Independence.

Bio: Emily grew up in Greene, ME. After graduating from Leavitt Area High School, she went to college at Middlebury and ran for their XC team. She worked for two years in Boston at Children’s Hospital following college, then obtained her Doctor of Osteopathy from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, going on to complete her residency in Pediatrics at Maine Medical Center. She graduated this past June and has just started working at Franklin Memorial Health Center in Farmington, Maine. Her interest in vaping started back in medical school, when parents of children would say they switched to e-cigarettes to help prevent secondhand smoke for their kids. Since then she has continued to investigate second hand effects of vaping through research, as well as educational lectures regarding the increase in use in Pediatrics and the current epidemic.

Victoria Hynes, LCSW Related seminars and products: 1
Program Manager
MaineHealth Center for Tobacco Independence
Bio: Victoria is the Program Manager for the Training and Education team at the MaineHealth Center for Tobacco Independence. In this role, she oversees multiple efforts that seek to educate health professionals statewide about the burden of tobacco use, and increase opportunities for tobacco treatment and referral. Prior to joining CTI in 2018, she was the Clinical Outreach and Implementation Clinician for the PRIDE program, a SAMHSA funded Primary and Behavioral Health Care Integration Grant, where she worked to coordinate primary care in the behavioral health setting. Her experience also includes working with adolescents and their families, women experiencing homelessness and teaching in Selma, Alabama.
