This course will lead you through a series of steps to create two foliage stems for your completed rose. You will create leaves with detail and interest through paper colouring techniques, and shaping them with their characteristic serrated edges.

Most importantly, you will learn how to assemble your foliage stem without bulk, creating smooth transitions between the leaf additions to sculpt a neat and tidy stem ready to apply to your finished rose.

Creating a beautiful stem of leaves can sometimes take just as much time as the blooms themselves, but they are integral to making your finished project sing. The best part is the techniques in this course move beyond rose foliage, and can be applied to all of your foliage projects.
