The course highlights the differences between Cassandra and relational databases, discusses the Cassandra Query Language (CQL).

The course starts off with  the installation of Oracle’s  virtualbox and ubuntu-linux followed by the installing of Cassandra on the Ubuntu-linux virtual machine.
