Carlo Traversi – Master Dynamic Movement
The best climbers tackle both boulder problems and routes with explosive, dynamic power that relies more on momentum, precision timing, and the recruitment of the big-muscle groups of the legs and core than on brute finger or pull-up strength. In this course, professional climber Carlo Traversi will teach climbers of all levels how to move dynamically, which will radically change the way you approach climbing. During this six-week online course, you’ll learn when to dyno, how to perfect explosive movement, and the right way to train to achieve the results you want. Plus, there’s a good chance you’ll wow other climbers with your dyno style.
This course is made up of six parts, with video segments in each one, that you can tackle at your own pace. Throughout, Traversi will show you exactly how to improve your movement and train your muscles to work together dynamically, so you can move up the wall more like a leaping gazelle than a stiff rhinoceros. He’ll guide you through specific dynamic moves you can try at the gym or the crag like the deadpoint and double-clutch, paddle, and redirect dynos, as well as offer strengthening exercises you can do to make dynamic movement more effortless. You’ll train yourself to become a more strategic, explosive climber able to reach distant holds and climb harder grades than you ever thought possible.
