The mind is set up, and behaves, exactly like a computer system. Exactly.

It uses a storage drive to save information (memories) and it runs automatic processes (programs).

For example, say we want to create a life with financial freedom. Our mind jumps in and tells us why that’s impossible. It feeds us all kinds of information about why we’re not good enough, why we don’t have what it takes, why it’s so hard, and so on.

And we listen to it.

We. take. it. as. fact.

In other words, we let those programs in our mind demoralize us, reinforcing the programs that we are not good enough. We get scared. We decide to play small and safe. And we never create the opportunity for ourselves to prove that we can, in fact, be financially free.

Unfortunately many of our programs (beliefs) are operating subconsciously. Once we accepted them they are our reality. Until we question them again.

It is very important to realize, that these beliefs are not reality. Reality is a relative construct. Beliefs are thoughts in our head that have formed an image of the world, that we work with. But it is not reality.
