This workshop focuses on couple therapy with highly disorganized partners and couples. Special attention will be paid to the importance of strong therapeutic frame (rules) and therapeutic stance (goals). Highly disorganized partners and couples will be viewed through the lens of attachment theory, regulation theory, and neurobiological development.
Educational Objectives:
- Name at least five principles of secure functioning
- Describe at least five diagnostic markers for assessing disorganized states and traits in the clinical setting

He and his wife, Tracey Boldemann-Tatkin, developed the PACT Institute for the purpose of training other psychotherapists to use this method in their clinical practice.
