AccountancyLearning – AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping

This distance learning AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping course will introduce you to manual double entry bookkeeping skills including associated documents and processes, up to Trial Balance standard. The Foundation Certificate in AAT =Bookkeeping course consists of the same two financial accounting units that are included in the full Foundation Certificate in Accounting. However, the latter qualification contains 3 further units to complete. This course provides an alternative starting point for those who are already working in a finance role (but without double entry bookkeeping experience). Or those who wish to work in an accounting/bookkeeping role in practice or industry.

The AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping course is a qualification in its own right. Upon successful completion you will receive a certificate from the AAT. You can then choose to progress onto any of the AAT Advanced qualifications. Options include The Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping or Advanced Diploma in Accounting.

N.B. If you want to progress directly onto the AAT Advanced level, but do not have any experience of using Sage, you may want to undertake the AAT Foundation Award in Accounting Software first.
