Abhishek Kumar, MD, FCCP, MPH graduated from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He also received a Master of Public Health from Harvard University, Scholl of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts.  He completed his internal medicine residency at Brookdale University and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.  He also completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York, and in Geriatric Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center/New York Medical College in Bronx, New York. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine. Dr. Kumar practices at Mercy Pulmonology Clinic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City.
